About us

Andrew Wilson-Long and Stuart Dodds established Transport Signs in 2018 with the objective of running their own business which was specifically tailored and focused on delivering signage projects into, what can be at times, a complex Transportation Sector.

The Transportation Sector makes specific demands on the signage supplier, not only with material selection, but also with standards that need to be met and mandatory accreditation, compliance and qualifications.

Since the establishment of the business, we have found that our clients enjoy the peace of mind that they know we have each aspect of their project in hand, whether that be compliance or health and safety related.

Once you combine our industry experience with our contract management, accreditations, social and environmental awareness, products and project delivery process & procedures, you can be assured of a successful outcome when your project is delivered by our team.

Transport Signs is a RISQS Audited Company.

PEOPLE, PLANET, PROSPERITY

We believe that a business can no longer solely exist as a profit-making enterprise.

To prosper as a successful business, we should give back to the people in our team and our customers, and consideration for the planet is at the heart of everything we do.

Planet

It is always important to challenge the status quo and at Transport Signs, we’re determined to deliver projects with as little environmental impact as possible.

We are focused on continually improving our sustainability practices and we are constantly looking for more environmentally friendly signing solutions.

We have teamed up with Trees for Life, a charity with a mission to rewild the Caledonian Forest. Every order that we receive automatically contributes to trees being planted in our very own Transport Signs grove in the the Scottish Highlands.

We will plant over 300 trees this year, which is only possible through our work with our clients. We intend to exceed this number in 2023.

People

Railway Children is an international charity that identifies and works with thousands of children across UK, India and East Africa that are forced to leave homes that have become unbearable through poverty, abuse, violence or neglect.

At Transport Signs, we continue to donate to Railway Children to support their good work. A percentage of every project we work on is donated to the charity.

We also take pride in our team, and it’s important to us that our staff enjoy their work too. After all, a happy team makes for a happy experience for our clients.
