How We Delivered
External Fascia
We were tasked with re-creating the original back-illuminated glass signage, to be installed within a beautifully fabricated new bronze fascia.
Following a detailed site survey and research into traditional methods, we hand sign-wrote new glass panels for the canopy – replicating the look and feel of the original signage as closely as possible.
High-Level 3D Letters
Our team fabricated and installed large bronze 3D letters reading RICHMOND STATION — fitted during night shifts following the façade cleaning.
A standout detail that now greets every visitor.
Booking Hall
During refurbishment, our client uncovered a fantastic surprise — several original back-painted glass signs hidden behind decades-old cladding.
We were asked to fabricate new hand-painted signs to match and complement the originals, updating wayfinding while preserving the character and heritage of the station interior.
Projects like these are a great reminder of how traditional sign-making skills still have a vital role in today’s built environment. The final result is something we’re incredibly proud of.
